[Improve this site] [Press & Media] [Contact Us] [Joining Questionnaire]

There are no membership fees but all those contacting us are requested to include a SAE for reply.
New members are sent a questionnaire to complete as well as information about the group.
The group issues a newsletter twice a year. There is no membership card but members are issued with a reference number which will be found on newsletters. It is to be seen first on the questionnaire and it is worth while making and keeping safe a note of this for when you wish to send off for the newsletters. On receipt of a newsletter members are requested to send a new large ( A4 size) self-seal SAE for the next newsletter, putting their reference number in the TOP LEFT HAND CORNER and the number of the newsletter required in the BOTTOM LEFT HAND CORNER. Tuck in the flap so that it does not get stuck down in the post. Note that by sending in the envelope for the next newsletter you are remaining in touch and thus remaining a member. We put a reminder about this at the end of each newsletter.
Copies of back numbers of the newsletters cost 25p for each one requested. For practical reasons we ask you to please limit your request to no more than four back numbers. Please make sure the stamp you use on your SAE is sufficient to cover the cost of the postage. Archive copies of newsletters are available on this web site here and a printer friendly version of the newsletters (which could be used selectively) here. The latest newsletter is available here.
Overseas enquirers are asked to please include at least three international reply coupons.
Announcing
her decision to step down and pass on her support group Eileen Gill wrote in
Newsletter 53 but this information has been changed a little:
So, after this newsletter, we shall have a new co-ordinator, one of our members, Mrs. Beverley Finn, who will answer your letters. Professor Chaudhuri will write the newsletters in future and Suse Tluk, RLS nurse, will send them out. Paul Kelly, our Webmaster, will continue to run the website and edit the Topica discussion site. Jill Faal is Professor Chaudhuri's private secretary with whom private referrals should be made. More information here.

All enquiries must be accompanied by a SAE and overseas members should send 3 international reply coupons instead of stamps.
Try to send new SAEs that are self-seal and make sure they are large enough to take the literature you have requested and that you have put on the necessary postage. C5 sized envelopes 5mm thick may contain the equivalent of 12 pieces of standard photocopier/A4 office printer paper folded in half.
If you are not acquainted with this pricing for your SAE and you are using the UK Royal Mail for your postage have a look here.
Please make out cheques to "The Ekbom Support Group". Do not send cash but stamps
are very acceptable.
Please give your membership number if you are a member.
