There are few other destinations on this planet that are able to offer the same standard of hotels, as in Las Vegas. Las Vegas hotels here are all awesome sights in their own individual right and the fact that they are subsidised by their casinos, means that you are able to enjoy five star luxury at amazingly low rates.
If you are thinking about travelling to Las Vegas, you should aim to book a hotel on the strip. After all, this is definitely where all of the action is. The strip has many hotels lining it’s busy length; from The Stratosphere at one end, to Mandalay Bay and The Luxor at the other.
Each hotel has been carefully designed to try hard to recapture the specific theme that is being portrayed. New York, New York, for example, has a mega Coney Island coaster at the front on the hotel and the hotel looks as though it comprises on many skyscrapers.
The Mirage, one of two I have been lucky enough to stay in, actually gives you the feeling that you are in a tropical paradise and there is a volcano at the front of the hotel that erupts several times each hour.
The MGM Grand is a truly spectacular hotel and is dedicated to the film industry greatness that has been achieved through this one company alone.
The Luxor has a huge replica of a Sphinx at the front of the property and the hotel is built in the form of a giant pyramid.
If you are feeling hungry, there is nothing stopping you from moving from hotel to hotel and trying the many restaurants in each property. With so much choice though, I’ll warn you now, it’s difficult settling on the hotel you fancy next.
