An Amsterdam Apartment Proved to be the Ideal BaseAs a person who is accustomed to staying in so many hotels, I came to the point where I was fed up with the impersonal ambiance of this type of property. Obviously, a lot of hotels can be really luxurious and the service is absolutely excellent, but you really have to pay through the nose at this level. In short, I was in need of a new experience. I wanted an environment that was not limited to four very close walls and craved a home from home instead. I was over the moon when I managed to find this in an Amsterdam apartment . This gave me all the facilities I would ever need in a luxurious home. The kitchen facilities were especially excellent - with all the utensils and appliances you could ever need. In actual fact, I thought it put my kitchen back home in the shade. Conveniently, the apartment was bang-smack right in the heart of the city. I was given some very easy to follow directions from Schipol Airport and this helped to ensure that the whole holiday was great from start to finish. The next time I am looking to stay in any city in the world, I am always going to check out the possibility of renting an apartment first. It’s definitely a case of - once you try apartments, hotels really do seem like a compromise. |
